Troll

They prefer to live under bridges...

Trolls are large humaniods, often reaching over 10' tall. They tend to have a gangly, sinewy build and have great physical strength.

Skin colour varies and shades of blue are most common but green and purple have also been documented.

Trolls can regenerate physical damage inflicted on their bodies, and this makes them very tough. As well as being able to naturally heal broken bones and wounds, they tend to have a good resistance to poisons, and this means they can generally eat anything. If you want to hurt a Troll permanently, you need to use fire or acid, but be aware this will upset the troll so be prepared for their wrath.

Many Trolls tend to live solitary lives as they have bad hygene habits that others don't like to put up with and they enjoy the outdoors. They prefer to live under bridges if they can find them, but they often make their homes in caves or ruins if no bridges are to be found.

Being solitary creatures, as they get older they get used to their own company and they find it difficult to mix with other folk. So if you ever bump into a troll while wandering the wilds of Owtdare, so don't mistake their grumpy, rude or aggressive manners for any ill intent.

They are not malicious by nature, they are much cleverer than they look, and if you take the time to talk to one, you might just find they are just a lonely soul trying to make their way through the world like the rest of us.
