The First Cedar
Every creature in the Creepy Crawly Woods has a different story as to how the First Cedar got its name...
There is a Cedar Tree in the North West of the Creepy Crawly Woods that everyone knows as 'The First Cedar'.

The Fairies will tell you that the First Cedar was brought to the Creepy Crawly Woods by the Venerable Fairy in ancient times as a seedling and, from there, it prospered, because it was the first cedar tree in the Woods.
The Elves will tell you that the First Cedar was where the King of the Woods first met with the others powers of the Land at Midsummer (before the meeting was moved to the Oldest Oak) and that the name reflects the beginning of this annual and most important tradition.
The Goblins will tell you that the First Cedar was near the place where they first found the most delicious mushrooms for Bilge's famous mushroom soup. The name was to remember the first place the mushrooms were ever found.
In fact, just about every creature in the Creepy Crawly Woods has a different story as to why the First Cedar is actually called The First Cedar.

The truth of the matter is that travellers once came from the North West into the Creepy Crawly Woods and the First Cedar was the first cedar tree they came across and the name sort of stuck!
The First Cedar Tree is just as perplexed about this as anyone else which is why, if you are ever nearby, you will only ever get a quiet sense of gentle confusion.
