Invoked [Cost: 3] - When invoked, this rune creates a quick magnetic pulse that pushes or pulls all metal within 30 ft. Choose whether the pulse will repel or attract. All metal objects within range that are no heavier than 10 times your Rune Potency are pushed 20 ft. away from the rune, or pulled 20 ft. towards it. Creatures holding or wearing metal objects must make a Strength saving throw to hold on to objects such as weapons or resist the pull on worn metal such as armor. On a failed saving throw, the object is yanked out of their grip or the creature is pulled with the metal they are wearing.

Scribed [Cost: 3] - When scribed, this rune imparts the properties of metal onto an object, surface, or creature. While affected, the target gains vulnerability to lightning and becomes conductive, and its shape becomes rigid and inflexible. Additionally, the target's AC can not be less than 18. A number of cubic feet of material equal to your Rune Potency can be affected, or a creature of a size determined by your Rune Potency: Small (1-2), Medium (3-6), Large (7+). If scribed on a creature, the creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed saving throw, the rune takes effect and they become paralyzed. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the rune's effects on a success. This effect requires concentration and can affect objects and surfaces for up to 1 hour, but can only affect creatures for up to 1 minute.

Synthesis [Cost: 2] - Combining this rune with a scribed or invoked rune causes the rune's effects to apply to all metallic objects and surfaces within 30 ft. of the rune.
