Invoked [Cost: 3] - When invoked, if you have marked a creature with this rune previously, you draw upon their life force to heal yourself. The marked creature must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 4d8 necrotic damage on a failure, or half on a success. You regain hit points equal to half the damage dealt. This rune can be scribed onto a Tekrum talisman and invoked by someone else to draw upon the marked creature's life force once.

Scribed [Cost: 2] - When scribed onto a creature, you always know the creature's direction and distance from you if it's within a number of miles equal to your Rune Potency. Only one creature can bear this mark at a time, and if you scribe it again, the first one disappears. Cannot be scribed on an object or surface. If the marked creature goes outside the detection range, or is on another plane of existence, the mark is dismissed. The mark lasts for 1 hour, or until dismissed or dispelled. Scribing this rune does not prevent invoking it.

Synthesis [Cost: 2] - Combining this rune with a scribed or invoked rune allows the scribed or invoked rune to directly affect a creature marked by this rune regardless of where they are so long as they were within the detection range of your mark.
