The Venerable Fairy is the Lord of the Faery Oak and is one of the oldest of all the creatures of the Creepy Crawly Woods.
He has lived in the Woods since before the Woodland King was even born!
The Venerable Fairy has had many names, now lost to history, but prefers his current title as it suits his ancient and wise status.
He is so old now, that his wings have withered and will no longer carry him, although you will find his mind as sharp as his wit!
If you are ever lucky enough to see him whilst exploring the Woods, you will know him because he only travels on the back of his trusted steed Henry the Hornet, on a tiny saddle of gold and beeswax.
The domain of the Venerable Fairy is on the Southeast side of the Creepy Crawly Woods and surrounds the Faery Oak.
He is one of the few Rulers in The Hard Lands who can boast that they reside in a living palace, as the Faery Oak itself has hollow chambers in which the Venerable Fairy holds Court.
