The Faery Oak

This tree shimmers with the hint of gossamer wings

The Faery Oak is not the oldest Oak in the Creepy Crawly Woods, it is not the biggest Oak either. It is, however, the home of the Venerable Faery and probably the most stunning Tree in the Woods.

Within its boughs and branches, grows the palace of the Venerable Faery. Yes, I said grows, because the Tree itself forms the halls and rooms of the Palace, just the Fairies and the Bees of Kingswood live there with the Venerable Faery. It is indeed a sight to behold. It is vibrant, colourful, full of delicate and iridescent hues and sweet smells of honey.

The air around the Tree shimmers with the hint of gossamer wings and the wind sings through the branches with the echo of flutes and pipes.

If ever you are in that part of the Woods, please remember to look up and marvel at the majesty of this Tree. Far too many travellers to the Woods have simply missed it because they are looking at what is directly in front of them without realising that the magic of the Woods is directly over their head!
