Bugbear

Bugbears are not common in the The Hard Lands, there is only one known to live in the Creepy Crawly Woods and his name is Ra-Ra

They usually live in tribes in caves wherever they can be isolated from other creatures. They live and hunt in small family groups. They are instantly recognised as they are quite huge compared to other creatures and immensely strong.

They have a fearsome reputation as warriors because of this. The truth behind their ferocity though, is mainly because they are not very intelligent and can be easily fooled. This makes them quick to anger and is also partly the reason they live isolated from just about everyone else.

They are bigger and taller than the largest Big Bossy Orcs but not quite as big as an Ogre and are usually covered in reddish brown fur.

If you ever want to see just how ferocious and dangerous a bugbear can be, just call it 'stupid' and you will see for yourself.
